My approach to consultation has been shaped by years of working in outpatient behavioral health, psychiatric emergency services, clinician education, and community mental health. I've collaborated with professionals across a variety of settings and understand that some of the most challenging clinical decisions don't come with one clear answer.
Consultation isn't about telling you what to do. It's a space to think out loud, ask difficult questions, and work through the clinical picture with someone who understands the realities of the work. Sometimes that means confirming you're already on the right track. Other times, it's about looking at a case from a different perspective.
